The District is currently in the process of drafting an RFP for the Pechstein and Pechstein II Reservoir Planning and Design Project. The scope of work is envisioned to include but not be limited to CEQA document preparation, master planning facilities, including future pump station needs, and space planning the entire Pechstein Reservoir site to accommodate a new Pechstein II Reservoir (up to 10 million gallons) while retaining the existing Pechstein Reservoir in its current location. In addition, final design services for a new Pechstein II Reservoir, flume replacement terminus connections, coordination with the San Diego County Water Authority for a new VID 3 connection, yard piping with other future connections, and design services for general site improvements and site security enhancements are all needed.
