Vista Irrigation District Board Elects Officers for 2017 (December 8, 2016)

The Vista Irrigation District (VID) board of directors elected Marty Miller as its president and Randy Reznicek as its vice-president for 2017 at its annual organizational meeting yesterday. 

Miller has served on the board since December 2008 and represents division 1, which stretches from Gopher Canyon Road to Vale Terrace Drive in Vista.  Since being elected to the VID board in 2008, Miller, who owns a construction company in Vista, has served as the chair of the district’s public affairs, water sustainability, and Warner Ranch committees.   He has been the district’s representative on the San Diego County Water Authority board of directors since November 2011.

Reznicek, who was re-elected in November 2016, has served on the board since January 2015. He represents division 4 which encompasses the Shadowridge area of Vista and is generally located between Shadowridge Drive and Highway 78.  Reznicek, a retired insurance broker and agency owner, has served as the chair of the water sustainability and public affairs committees.
