General employment information
Vista Irrigation District provides excellent benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, PERS retirement, life and long-term disability insurance and a deferred compensation match program. Employees receive thirteen paid holidays annually and earn fifteen days of vacation during their first year of service.
Vista Irrigation District requires all applicants to complete a District employment application with an original signature, with exception to electronically submitted applications which are signed during the interview process. Unless otherwise specified in the job announcement, a resume may not be submitted in lieu of the District's employment application package. The recruitment selection process will take approximately 30-90 days. Persons selected for employment will be subject to a background investigation and drug testing.
